Hello Martin,
Sten-Åke has generated the tool paths also for the finishing operation.
The tool used, here named T1, is the same as for Ibusuki (D16 R4 L60).
Programmed cutting data is: spindle speed=15000rpm and feed=3183mm/min. We
have made the hole 5mm deeper than the finished model's bottom surface in
order to create enough space for suggested probing locations.

Bengt

Re: Tool path generation
Hi Bengt,
I have started to assemble the data.
You are using a different origin and orientation for the part to that used
by Airbus.
Can you describe the transformation used to move the geometry to the new
location so that I can do the same in the STEP-NC Explorer.
I need to know any rotations and the XYZ shift.

Hi Martin,
I have discussed the hole issue with Sten-Åke, and we suggest that the
finishing operation should create a hole 5mm deeper than the depth of the
part model. This means that we would cut 5mm into the excess stock at the
bottom and leave enough clearance for the suggested probing activity.
The roughing paths for the combination of 44 and 20mm tools are already
done. They are the ones you already have:
-roughing tool1 (named T10): "UG_Cam_Moriseiki_NH8000.cls" (44mm
diameter tool)
-roughing tool2 (named T11): "UG_Cam_Moriseiki_NH8000_2.cls" (20mm
diameter tool)
For finishing, one "cls" file for a 16mm tool will be developed during the
week.
Are these "cls" files enough for you -or do you need the "prt" file as
well?

Bengt
