We reviewed the letter to Siemens requesting the development of a
STEP-NC translator for NX. We agreed that the letter should request
implementation of the common core of ISO 14649 and ISO 10303-238.
The common core being:
1. The STEP models for assemblies, geometry, topology, GD&T and facets.
2. The STEP-NC models for the tool path process data and program
structure data.
3. The ISO 13399 model for tooling data.
We agreed that the letter should be a template with the message being
more powerful if modified by each organization to suit its requirements
and situation.

We reviewed the most recent executive summary of the white paper.

A new version of the STEP-NC simulator was demonstrated with a feedback
loop for updating the tool position from the CNC control.
The procedure for implementing the feedback loop is now documented on
the STEP Tools web pages:

The next conference call will be held at the non-regular times for
Europe because of the time change on Wednesday October 29. A recording
