Dear Martin and everybody,
Concerning your draft letter of support.  Although, of course, the primary concern of your group is AP238, David Madeley should be made aware that there are two incarnations of STEP-NC, ISO 14649 as well as ISO 10303 AP238.  STEP-NC is a term coined by Siemens themselves and was used first for ISO 14649, not AP238.

We been asked for a letter of support by Siemens NX CAM. They are planning to start a STEP-NC implementation project in 2015 and would greatly appreciate a letter from us to help justify the expense. A draft is attached.
