Dear all:
Even if I have been away from the STEP-NC work for the recent years, as the
previous Convener of ISO TC184/SC1/WG7, and owner of ISO 14649 Part 12, 121,
201 since 2000, I totally agree with Dr. Stroud's comments.
Anyway, this message finds you are all well, including Prof. Hardwick. I
appreciate your continuously active efforts on STEP-NC
Wishing the best success of STEP-NC technology in the world
With my warmest regards
Suk-Hwan Suh

Dear Martin and everybody,
Concerning your draft letter of support. Although, of course, the primary
concern of your group is AP238, David Madeley should be made aware that
there are two incarnations of STEP-NC, ISO 14649 as well as ISO 10303 AP238.
STEP-NC is a term coined by Siemens themselves and was used first for ISO
14649, not AP238.
Best regards,
Ian

All,
We been asked for a letter of support by Siemens NX CAM. They are planning
to start a STEP-NC implementation project in 2015 and would greatly
appreciate a letter from us to help justify the expense. A draft is
attached.
Martin
