The second conference call for the Renton round will be held this 
Wednesday at the usual times. See below for connection information. 
There will be several items to consider including the message below from 
Alain.

Hi Martin,

Despite the short delay to develop the Renton demo, I would suggest:

1 - you replace 2 opposite sides of the boxy by a NAS979 circle-square-diamond test part (one side as usual, the opposite one in hollow). Machining of this test part is well known and industry will be happy to see the integration of measuring devices (RENISHAW and FARO arm), to check the quality of machining and they will be more confident in AP238 functionalities.

2 - Is there some benefit to define setups that are rotated by 45° around the Z axis?
    - compensation of misalignement is more accurate?
    - greater acceleration, shorter time to speed up and down, x and y drives instead of only one?

3 - About the functionalities demonstrated, it will be interesting to produce an inspection record sheet to demonstrate the part machined complies with tolerances and quality requirements including the "as is" final AP203 file.

These points must be discussed before making the best decision.
