We had a very successful meeting in Dallas with several newcomers on 
both days. At the conclusion of the meeting we agreed that there 
should be two follow-on meetings in the first half of 2008. The 
suggestion is for the first to show feed and speed optimization using 
AP-238 and the second to show error correction and five axis cutter 
compensation using AP-238. We also agreed to hold a conference call 
at 10:30AM Eastern, 4:30PM France to review the meeting results and 
discuss the plans for the next meetings.

Airbus is going to provide the Webex site for the meeting and Sandvik 
the dial in number. Details for both are below.

There is an archive of slides and other information for the meeting

During the meeting we are likely to look at "Dallas_results.ppt" and 
"Plans_for_next_meeting.ppt". We may also take a look at 
Cross-Sections.ppt because it contains important additional 
information on the speed and feed optimization. If you have time you 
should also take a look at SandvikAP238DallasDemo.pdf because it is 
an excellent portable summary of their machining and measurement 
results, and the HiPP sub-directory because it contains many 
important details on the priorities for measurement using STEP-NC. 
The Traceability.zip file contains information on the traceability 
model that will also be tested in this round.

Europe and the USA have both switched their clocks to winter time.
