All,

The following has been added to the ftp site:
ftp://www.steptools.com/private/Dallas/Meeting/

1. A set of slides describing the HiPP model. The slides compare what
is in AP-238 for measurement and what is in DMIS, and divide the
functionalities that can be included in HiPP into a set of desirable
functionalities (33) and a set of possible functionalities (22).

Thanks very much to Tom Kramer of NIST for these excellent slides.

2. Videos and data sets for the machining preparation done in New
Zealand using Pro/Engineer, AP-238 and a four axis machine.

With this data set we have the following testing
participants: Airbus, Sandvik, the University of Bordeaux, the
University of Toulouse, the University of Auckland, NIST and Boeing.

They have used Caita, Mastercam, Siemens UGS, and Pro/Engineer to
make the data. The parts have been machined using Fanuc, Siemens and
Heidenhain controls. Siemens, Renishaw and M&H probes have been used
for on machine measurement and a Zeiss CMM has been used for
off-machine measurement.

Martin
