All,

The webex site and conference call numbers are give below.

Sandivk has been able to complete the roughing operation. Images of
the part are on the web site with the latest data and a set of
PowerPoint slides.

We need to discuss the following issues:

1. What is the difference between Manual mode and CNC mode in DMIS
2. Is there a requirement to probe exactly the points given in
FisheadToleranceSuggestionsIssueC.ppt or will any related points be sufficient.
3. How to generate on-machine probing code that probes using one axis
only and without cosine errors.

The following improvements have been made to the Sandvik data since
the last conference call:

1. The UGS APT parser was changed so that each tool command makes a
new workingstep even if the tool change is redundant. This has
resulted in much more modular tool paths, see the slides in
20071017_status.ppt.
2. The APT parser was changed to add approach and retract moves for
the following UDE operation. This change eliminated collisions at
Workingsteps 42 and 52.

                 "$$UDE: <> MOVE BACK <>/TYPE=MAX"

3. The Manual DMIS mode code generator has been updated to conform to
the syntax given in FisheadToleranceSuggestionsIssueC.ppt. See
