A white paper explaining the benefits and technology of ST-WebExchange
is available on request from info at steptools.com. Please include your
postal address.

ST-WebExchange is a next generation system for building and delivering
product model information. With ST-WebExchange, you replace drawings
with electronic data processable over the World Wide Web.

ST-WebExchange contains Internet services for building, viewing,
editing and storing product models in a warehouse, ready for delivery
on demand to suppliers, customers and the shop floor.

EXPRESS-X Demonstration in Beijiing

A EXPRESS-X demonstration will be given at the ISO STEP meeting in
Beijiing next week. The demonstration will use the Bad Aibling
version of EXPRESS-X to define information content for an HTML page.
The system will read an EXPRESS-X schema and a Part 21 file and make
an HTML pages that visualizes the contents of the Part 21 file.

The EXPRESS-X to be used in the demonstration is the Bad Aibling
(Summer 1998) version not the Toronto version (Fall 1996) demonstrated
at previous meetings. There is strong expectation that the Bad Aibling
version will be submitted for approval as a standard early next year.
