AUTOFACT 1998

STEP Tools, Inc., the leading supplier of software for implementing the
STEP standard, will be participating in AUTOFACT '98, North America's
leading conference and exposition focused on information technologies for
the manufacturing enterprise, September 29 - October 1, at Cobo Center,
Detroit, Michigan. 

STEP Tools will be exhibiting at BOOTH #1207, giving Introduction to
STEP classes, a sneak preview of an important new product and holding
a party (more below). Come by and see us.

Sneak Preview of ST-WebExchange at AUTOFACT (Booth #1207)

ST-WebExchange is a new product for building and delivering product
data to customers and suppliers. The ST-WebExchange system will
contain four Internet enabled services: Warehousing, Translation,
Visualization and Editing.  With ST-WebExchange, you can load a
product model into the warehouse, annotate it with data from other
systems, edit the model so that each supplier gets just the data they
need, build web pages for viewing the models, and translate them to
the form required by a supplier CAD system.

Free Classes at AUTOFACT

STEP Tools, Inc. will be giving a one hour Introduction to STEP
training session on September 29/30, at 2:30 and 4:30 and Thursday,
October 1, at 2:30. The training sessions will present an overview of
the STEP standard, and discuss how STEP can be used to share product
data with suppliers.

Extended Enterprise Management using STEP

On Wednesday, September 30, from 4:00 to 5:00pm, Martin Hardwick,
President of STEP Tools, will chair a session entitled, "Extended
Enterprise Management Using STEP."

Party at AUTOFACT

Last but by no means least STEP Tools, Inc. will host a reception at
the Westin Renaissance Center, Monet Room (very grand!) from 6:30PM
to 8:30PM. This is the first time we have held a reception so we may
have grossly overestimated the weight of food you can eat, and the
volume of liquid you can drink.  Come on by and prove us wrong!
