[wg11] Linked version of the Part 28 CD

All,
Since David Price mentioned it to me yesterday, it occurred to me that
others may have had the same problem:
When the SC4 ballot for Part 28 was announced, the PDF version of the
document on the server was made, per ISO supplemental directives, with
Acrobat v3, which didn't do "hyperlinks".
About 1 May, Dave Loffredo replaced that PDF document with one made with
Acrobat v6. The text of N229 did not change, but the replacement PDF
document has
- "Bookmarks" (a document outline with links to the text),
- a "live" table-of-contents (clicking on a page number takes you to
that page), and
- "live" cross-references (clicking on a cross-reference takes you to
the referenced section).
(And the v6 reader stacks your visits like a Web browser, so you can go
back to where you came from.)
Because the document itself is replete with clauses that give you 25% of
a specification and point to the clause that gives the next 25%, or
say "as specified for that data type in 6.3" (somewhere in that 20
pages), the linked version is very useful.
If you downloaded the PDF version of WG11 N229 prior to 1 May, you may
want to go back and get the linked version, via:
http://www.tc184-sc4.org/SC4_Open/SC4_and_Working_Groups/WG11/N-DOCS/
and follow the thread to N229.
The ISO ballot is due 21 July, but your National Body will doubtless
have an earlier date for comments, so that it can cast its vote on time.
(E.g., the U.S. comments are due by 18 June, I think.)
