Interested in Reviewing UML 2 Submissions for EXPRESS Requirements?

All,

SC4 has been working with OMG to harmonize EXPRESS and UML so that UML-based
software tools can be used to implement EXPRESS models. ISO 10303-25
standardizes an EXPRESS to UML mapping and is out for ballot in SC4 now.
During the development of Part 25, an issues paper was developed outlining
areas where the mapping was difficult. Both Part 25 and that paper have been
provided to the UML 2 submission teams. The UML 2 submissions are now in and
OMG has set up a review team. Ed Barkmeyer and I are officially part of that
team. If anyone else in SC4 is interested in reviewing the submissions and
providing feedback I would be happy to include it with the comments I sent
to the submission teams.

These submissions can be downloaded from the following URLs, respectively:
www.omg.org/techprocess/meetings/schedule/UML_2.0_Infrastructure_RFP.html
www.omg.org/techprocess/meetings/schedule/UML_2.0_OCL_RFP.html
www.omg.org/techprocess/meetings/schedule/UML_2.0_Superstructure_RFP.html

ml

The key thing to review right now is the Infrastructure submissions as they
are the foundation for UML.

Thanks,
David
