Framework Review Start

WG10ers,

although we didn't install a formal project for this purpose, the
team working on the SC4 Industrial Data Framework has made
enormous progress. The latest version of the document is
available from:

http://wg10step.aticorp.org/Deliverables/Framework/SSID

Now is the time to recognise this formally in the proper way. To
initialise this process, this message starts an internal 4 weeks
review within WG10. Please send your comments and issues to Chris
Vaughan (Chris_Vaughan at bigfoot.com) until Monday 2000-10-02 the
latest. This will allow Chris to prepare for an efficient comment
resolution meeting in Charleston.

According to the current schedule, the team will resolve all
issues in Charleston. The next step will then be an SC4 Standing
Document Ballot starting before the end of the year.

Please let us work together now and help the framework team to
properly finish the job.
