[step-manufacturing] UUID's for the Digital Twin

As per an agreement made in Saratoga, in this round we will focus on how 
to use UUID's to identify digital twins.

Actual identification of the digital twin seems to be relatively easy, 
but association of the additional information necessary to make the 
digital twin "fit for purpose" is more complex.
