We discussed the roadmap. Two architectures are evolving for the
STEP-NC platform of the future. The first is a control with an
intelligent HMI linked directly to the machine. The second is a control
that communicates its results to an enterprise server using a protocol
such as MTConnect.
We discussed recent extensions made to the STEP-Manufacturing schema for
point cloud modeling, additive manufacturing, presentation placement and
IOS 13399 harmonization.
We discussed progress on assembling the components for the February demo.
