The third call of this year will be on Wednesday, February 8th. We will 
continue the discussions on machine tool modeling:

1. Data Exchange of the Machining Algorithm selection

The machining simulation uses the following procedure to control the 
movements of the machine during the execution of a machining program:

A. At machine initialization:
1. Choose the algorithm (which tells us what axes we need).
2. Find the kinematic link for each axis.

B. During motion
1. Compute a delta for each axis.
2. Find the kinematic link for that axis.
3. Move the link by the delta
4. Follow the chain and move each downstream item in the chain by the 
delta.

Currently the Machining Algorithm selection is not being included in the 
AP-242 data so we are continuing to define this data in the XML. The 
suggestion at the link below has been made for how to include this data 
in the AP-242 but we think it is too heterogeneous. Can we define 
another method using ISO 841 or similar?

2. Extending the AP-242 machine tool model to include kinematic 
positional accuracy data

A data model has been proposed and will be discussed during the telecon.
