[step-manufacturing] RE: Hershey Meeting Report for WG7

Dear Mr. Wesche, Secretary of ISO TC184/SC1:
 
According to Hershey Resoultion shown below, as the Converner of ISO
TC184/SC1/WG7, I am submitting NWIP for Machine Tool Data Model, titled
"Machine tool data model for general manuafcturing processes,"
(tentatively) formalized as Part 110 of ISO 14649. 
 
The data model will be one of the key agenda to be discussed in the ISO
TC184/SC1/WG7 Meeting, and the Joint Meeting between ISO TC184/SC1/SG7 and
ISO TC184/SC4/WG3/T24 to be held in Funchal on March 27 (Tuesday) and 29
(Thursday), respectively.
 
I would like you proceed the due process for the NWIP.

Dear ISO TC184/SC1/WG7 Members and Interest Group:
 
In Hershey USA, we had a Joint Meeting with ISO TC184/SC4/WG3/T24, and ISO
TC184/SC1 Plenary Meeting on October 26 and 27, respectively.
 
We had many fruitful results in the Meetings, including:
 

1.	Collaboration protocol between WG7 and T24 

2.	Collaboration with ISO TC39/SC2 

3.	NWIP for Machine Tool Data Model, "small" model to be formalized as
ISO 14649 Part 110. 

4.	Task force for 2nd Ed of ISO 14649 

5.	EDM data model Part 13 and 14 of ISO 14649 

6.	Milling Cutting data Model, currently FDIS version of Part 111 of
ISO 14649 

7.	Rapid Prototyping Model to be fomalized as ISO Part 17 

8.	Next Joint Meeting between WG7 and T24 at Funchal, March 2007 

9.	FAMOUS Project
