US TAG to submit NWI for EXPRESS-X
During a conference call last week the US TAG agreed to submit a New
Work Item for EXPRESS-X. The item will now be balloted and EXPRESS-X
will probably become Part 14 of STEP.
EXPRESS-X is a mapping language that can be used to find data in
EXPRESS defined databases and map data between EXPRESS defined
information models.

ST-Developer v7 almost ready
ST-Developer version 7 is very nearly ready for shipment. The cynics
amongst you have probably heard that one before, but we are already
more than a month late and you can start looking at our web site for
the release notes and new editions of the programming manuals.

* Unset of Integer and Real.
* Schema instances.
* Optional interface to an EXPRESS interpreter for evaluation of WHERE
rules, derived attribuges and global rules.
* Dynamic computation of SDAI dictionary from best available information.
