EXPRESS to HTML Translation Service

A new EXPRESS compiler has been installed on the Translation Service.
The new compiler generates HTML pages that are comprehensively indexed
to make it easy for you to browse an EXPRESS schema using a world wide
web browser.

EXPRESS-X for AP-224 and ISO 14649

AP-224 is the STEP Application Protocol for Process Planning using
Manufacturing Features. ISO 14649 will be a new ISO standard for
machine tools that uses EXPRESS to define the working steps that
a milling machine tool needs to execute to make a part. The two
standards are similar but different because the features needed
for process planning are not the same as the features needed for
a milling machine.

An EXPRESS-X Mapping has been written to show how AP-224 data can
be translated into ISO 14649 data. The mapping finds the features
in AP-224 that can be translated into ISO 14649 features and defines
a view of those features that can be used to create the ISO 14649
working steps.
