[wg11] Valencia WG11 Meeting Requests 1) Part 25/EXPRESS/UML and 2) EXPRESS/Binary

All,

Two WG11 meetings have been requested for Valencia. If you are interested in
participating but cannot because of a conflict, it may be possible to move
the times of the meetings. Please let me know as soon as possible. For now:

Part 25/EXPRESS/UML will meet 0900 - 1800 on Tuesday June 14 with the
following agenda:

0) An introduction to OMG MOF and ODM standards (if necessary) 
1) Review of MOF 2 Model of EXPRESS intended for OMG standardization 
   1a) Demonstration of early proof-of-concept implementation 
2) Update on Part 25 Edition 2 : UML 1.5 Profile for EXPRESS 
3) Progress and issues in mapping of MOF 2 Model of EXPRESS and other OMG
Ontology Definition Metamodel standards 
4) Conclusions and next actions

EXPRESS/Binary Data Representation will meet 0900 - 1800 on Thursday June 16
with the following agenda:

1) Receive reports from implementations 
   1a) Issues against draft specification 
   1b) Demonstration, if possible 
   1c) Any available comparison of HDF5 vs. P21 vs. P28 vs. etc. 
2) Address comments on draft specification. 
3) Based on Proof-of-concept work: 
   3a) Decide on whether HDF5 is suitable for CD1 
   3b) Decide whether an SV4-standardized API is needed for CD1 
4) Conclusions and next actions
