Hi everyone,

If you process the Part 21 Edition 3 file (#3) with the NIST STEP
File Analyzer, it reports the ANCHOR section and shows the UUIDs on
the product_definition worksheet.

All,

Here are the notes from today's meeting and STEP files for
checking using the NIST STEP File Analyzer.

The digital twin version of the AS1 has one part for every
instance in the twin which means, for example, there are six
bolts with six colors.

To help understand the data I have sent three files.

as1_ug-214 is the original STEP file defined as an EBOM so
there is one instance for all the nuts and bolts

as1-ug-214_dt2 is the MBOM without UUID's so there
is one instance for each nut and bolt. You should be able to
read this into systems that process AP214 or AP242

as1-ug-242_dt3 is an Part 21 Edition 3 STEP file with
UUID's. You should be able to read this into systems
that process Edition 3.

The image below shows the UUID of one of the parts on the left,
and the color of the instance on the right.
