We have prepared a new version of the STEP-NC Explorer for the IMTS
demonstration (10.46). In this version there is a new window for the
Okuma control.

The procedure for operation is now as follows:

1. Start the Explorer and load the STEP-NC file (latest is
v12_IMTS_HARDMOLDY).
2. Start the Okuma window using the menu selection View/Okuma
Testing (should see window shown below pop-up)
3. Select the operations you want to machine using the check boxes
(no need to export codes anymore)
4. Pick the Load button to send codes for the selected machining to
the control
5. If you want to track the machine pick the Start Tracking button,
if you want to simulate as well tick the Simulate box

When you pick "Load" the system will ask you for a file name.
However, you can configure the file in advance using the Configure
button so that you do not need to do any typing during the demo. Up
to three files can be configured each with their own offsets. The
current configuration/file is shown by highlighting the button in
Yellow or Green. If the button is Green then the codes for this
configuration have been loaded into the machine and are ready to
Track/Simulate. If the button is yellow then some change has been
made and you need to load the codes again before you can track the
newly selected STEP-NC data.

The Configure button will let you set the name of the offset as well
as selecting the file. For example, you can change the ones shown to
Boeing, Sandvik and Iscar.

If you are not running the Explorer on a control then the system
will start to generate and track its own events.
