I am pleased to announce that an article on the CCAM meeting has
been published in the Modern Machine Shop Blog.<br>

</span></font> The CAM Tooling Scenario has been selected for
the first pilot. In this pilot machine shops will save machining
programs to STEP-NC and send them to the tooling vendors. The
tooling vendors will analyze the operations and make tooling
recommendations. The recommendations will be sent back as STEP-NC
programs using the proposed tooling and optimal process data.<br>

In our testing phase we showed that optimizing tooling and process
data can reduce machining times by 15% or more. <br>
