All,
For those who have not seen the message from ISO headquarters it is
copied below.
The immediate consequence is that the scheduled ISO meeting in Bergen
will not take place in person.
Various virtual meetings will be held instead at both the WG and SC level.
Announcements will be made as appropriate.
We have tentative plans to hold a WG15 meeting in Cleveland in July to
evaluate the latest digital twin demonstrations.

*Subject:* ANSI AIF: COVID-19 Measures for ISO Meetings
To:
ANSI ISO Forum (AIF) Members
From:
Sara Desautels
ANSI Director
International Technical Programs and Services
Dear AIF Members,
As you may have already been notified by your respective TPM, ISO has
announced that*all committee meetings planned through June 30^th must be
held virtually or postponed. *The message below was received from Sergio
Mujica, ISO Secretary General:
/Travel bans, restrictions and social distancing measures continue to
expand globally and impact the international standards development work.
In response, approximately 275 ISO meetings that were scheduled to take
place between 2020-02-01 and 2020-06-30 have already been cancelled. /
//
/In light of the above, it has been decided with the support of the
President’s Committee that all ISO governance and technical meetings
planned until *30 June 2020 *must be held virtually or postponed until
after that date. The extension of these measures will be reviewed and
communicated on a monthly basis. /
//
/This decision has been taken first and foremost to safeguard the health
and wellbeing of the ISO community. It has also been taken to ensure the
business continuity of our organization and provide certainty and clear
guidance to the community regarding meetings that have been planned for
the upcoming months./
//
/Finally, all ISO/CS staff will telework fulltime as of Monday 16 March
2020 until further notice and remain fully available. /
//
/We will continue to monitor changes and keep you informed in a timely
manner. This decision will also be communicated to all ISO members and
the technical community./
Also, please be advised that the TMB will soon be considering additional
measure to assist the committees, such as flexibility on target dates
and deadlines that will be impacted by postponed or canceled meetings.
We will keep you informed of any developments as we are notified.
Should you have any questions or need assistance, please contact
isot at ansi.org <mailto:isot at ansi.org>
Thank you and best regards,
Kemi
