[step-manufacturing] WG15 Digital Manufacturing in Los Angeles

Greetings from snowy New York,

We had a very productive meeting last week  in Los Angeles where the sun 
seemed to be shining 24/7.

The attached slides explain the details but the highlights include:

  * Resolution of more than 200 comments on the Digital Twin Framework
    for manufacturing (new title)
  * Tentative agreement from France and Japan to vote yes for QIF
  * Review of AP238 e2 DIS which has now been used to machine more than
    one million parts
  * Digital twin demonstration of four robots performing drill and fill
    operations

We are here to help if anybody needs assistance reviewing these 
important standards for the next generation of digital manufacturing.
