[step-manufacturing] Conference call on Wednesday January 21st

Dear Everyone,

Unfortunately I will not be able to participate in the meeting to^day.  I don't understand, though, why you're dealing with CLI.  CLI is machine and process dépendent.  Although the format may be common, the contents have to depend on the machine and process parameters.  It comes at the end of the chain from CAD through STL and (maybe) SLI,  It gves thefinal movement information for planar layered manufacturing once all the décisions about process, skin/core, approximation level, etc. have been settled.  The final movements depend on all these.  Any CLI file is machine dépendent in the sense that it is inappropriate for other, dissimilar machines so I don't see why it has been brought into the discussion.
