Martin Hardwick gave a tour of the STEP-NC Explorer software to show how
to download STEP files into a CAM system and how to upload optimized
processes into the STEP-NC file.

We discussed the optimization procedure and determined that curves
describing the horsepower and torque profiles of the spindle and
possibly (but not urgently) the other servo motors should be added to
the data.

A recording of the call is available on the ftp site. The next call will
be at the regular times on Wednesday November 6th. Europe and the USA
will both be on Winter time clocks.
