STEP-NC models have been developed for Catia v6, Siemens NX and Mastercam.

These generic models are now being refined for machining. The plan is 
for Boeing to work with Dassault to complete a v6 model, Siemens to work 
with Sanvik to complete an NX model and for the Army to work with STEP 
Tools to complete a Mastercam model.

STEP Tools has published the code for a STEP-NC library for 
ST-Developer. The code has been used to implement a STEP-NC translator 
for Mastercam. It is being tested by NIST and is available to any 
ST-Developer licensee.

The CAX-IF will be holding a conference call next week to discuss 
implementing CAD to CAM translators using AP242. See the connection 
information below.

The next conference call will be held at slightly different times for 
Europe on Wednesday March 23rd (the USA will have moved to summer time).
