Apologies for Absence
-------------------------------
Ian Stroud, EPFL, Switzerland
We reviewed the machining accuracy data made by KTH in a spreadsheet and
in the ASME B59.2 XML format. A STEP version of the data is not yet
ready. The data will be tested next week for compatibility with the NIST
tool path evaluation system.
We reviewed the cutting tool assembly data. An issue has arisen because
some of the assembled CAD data does not have the dimensions described in
the ISO 13399. New versions of the CAD models will be prepared for the
demonstration.
We reviewed a model for external references between STEP PMI files and
geometry prepared by STEP Tools and KTH. The model will be used to
prepare a demonstration of distributed STEP data.
A recording of this conference call is available at the following ftp.
The next conference call will be at the regular time of 10:30AM Eastern
on Wednesday May 30th.
