We reviewed the AP-238 data for Boxy with the Cross Section data
inserted into the file. The data was entered correctly but there were
errors identified in the data source that caused incorrect values to be
transmitted to us for some cutting paths. A known problem exists in the
data source and it is being fixed.

Sandvik has selected a tool and material for the operations that will be
measured for tool wear. The following document describes the parameters.

STEP Tools will write a program to optimize the feeds and speeds using
this data and a constant chip thickness algorithm that will be sent to
them by Boeing.

NIST is going to start testing by air milling and wax cutting. We will
use the 5-axis DMG machine to minimize the number of setup changes. The
five axis version of Boxy has been posted to the ftp site along with a
set of slides describing the operations and fixtures.

The next call will be at the regular times on Wednesday March 3rd. A
video of this call is on the ftp site.
