KTH has produced a set of slides showing how the Boxy part can be
machined on 3, 4 and 5-axis machines.
ftp://ftp.steptools.com/private/Bath/Boxy_Part_3,_4,_5-Axis_Machining.ppt
The STEP-NC data for the three versions is on the ftp site. The sites
that are machining the part should begin to dry run the export codes
for these versions. The new data includes tool paths to etch the name
of each site onto each part.

ftp://ftp.steptools.com/private/Bath/Boxy_Part_4-Axis_Machining_2_Setups.238
ftp://ftp.steptools.com/private/Bath/Boxy_Part_5-Axis_Machining_2_Setups.238
These files do not include any part workpiece data. Boeing has
prepared toleranced workpiece data for the in-process models used in
the 4-axis machining. These models will be added to the 4-axis data
by KTH along with un-annotated models for the 3 and 5 axis machining.

Leon Xu has sent cross section data for the Moldy part to STEP Tools.
STEP Tools will add this data to version 5 of the Moldy part. Sites
that want to machine Moldy for this round should use version 4 as posted below.

NIST has been able to modify feeds and speeds for the Moldy part
using their Siemens simulator. A presentation will be prepared for
the Bath meeting.
The last conference call before the Bath meeting will be at the
regular times on Wednesday September 16th. A recording of this
conference call is at:

2. STEP Tools to fix some code issues identified by KTH for arc's.
3. KTH to assemble final versions of the Boxy data that include
workpiece models for each stage of the process.
