All,

A STEP-NC Explorer with built-in collision detection is now on the ftp site at:

ftp://ftp.steptools.com/private/Vancouver/test_data/stepnc_6_18.msi

In order to use the collision detection feature you have to be
simulating using a machine tool. There is a new collision icon on the
tool bar that must also be turned on, and because of a bug that will
be fixed, the tool position and cross section area icons must be
turned off. When set the models that collide during machining are
highlighted in red while the tool is running.

The best test data is the impeller part on the KTH Trunnion machine.
