[step-manufacturing] Slides for Jan 7th conference call (Wednesday)

All,

Here are some status slides for this weeks 
conference call on Wednesday. There are two 
technical issues to be discussed on how to define 
the gauge line for the cutting tools and how to 
define a tool reference direction for 
non-rotating tools. Plus there is a contribution 
from Alain Brail (Airbus retired) describing a 
data architecture/work flow for the demonstrations.

The first conference call of the New Year is at 
4:30PM France, 10:30AM Eastern and 7:30AM Western 
on Wednesday January 7th. See below for 
connection information. Many thanks to Sandvik 
and KTH for continuing to provide us with these 
facilities. The agenda items are:

1. Machine tool simulation issues.
         Placement of workpiece
         Placement of cutting tool
         Tool assembly length
         Scripting the tool changer and other machine specific functions

2. Tool reference direction for 
non-symmetric/non-rotating tools (e.g. composite tape laying machines)

3. Plans for 2009
         Boeing/Mitutoyo/Vancouver meeting
         Bath meeting
         Auckland meeting
