The scenario has been updated and a new version has been added to the
ftp site at:
ftp://ftp.steptools.com/private/CCAT/Visio_CCAT_CloseMachining_20080815.pdf
The following additions were made.
* An icon has been added to show Catia being used to convert the UGS
AP-203 design data into AP-203 e2 design data with GD&T information.
* An icon has been added to show CNC simulation being used for first
part correct, error detection.
* A feedback loop from final inspection to design has been added to
show the final inspection results being returned to design.
* Icons have been added to show the team participants and responsibilities.
We discussed target datum's. The placement issue for circular,
straight line and rectangular datum's has been solved. We discussed
how to define the rules for constructing datum's. NIST will check for
standard language for describing the methods.
The STEP-NC Explorer CNC simulation has been refined. A complete
simulation for one blade at 0.5 mm resolution has been posted to the
ftp site at:
ftp://ftp.steptools.com/private/CCAT/Simulation/impeller_v5_20080723.sim
Registrations for the meeting are being received. Please register as
