Magnus Lundgren, KTH

Mitutoyo and Renishaw have developed new technology for probing
surfaces that we will apply to the impeller. Sandvik will send an
Impeller to Mitutoyo for measurement.

STEP Tools has generated cutting tool contact area cross section
parameters for the fishhead part that have a rough correlation to the
parameters generated by Boeing using Vericut. STEP Tools will
generate cross section parameters for the simple KTH part and then
for the Impeller part. A Vericut project needs to be generated for
the KTH part.

There was a discussion on methods for correcting the tool paths after
measurement. Nrec concepts has software that will correct tool paths
using measurement data so an interface will be written to AP-238
using the STEP-NC Explorer.

There was a discussion on the invitation and registration form for
the meeting. They were considered to be ready for distribution.

Boeing is on track to begin machining a test part in foam at the end of July.

The next conference call will be on Wednesday July 2.

Action items
------------------
Bengt Olsson to send cutting tools and ISO 13399 data to Boeing.
Leon Xu to generate cross section parameters for the KTH and Impeller parts.
Peter Klein to determine data input format required for computing
tool path deltas.
Larry Maggiano to measure the Sandvik impeller.
