The Impeller part will be used for the demonstration. We will
demonstrate feed speed optimization and closed loop machining.

The near term development schedule is as follows:

April 23 - Assembly and visualization of the AP-238 model
May 7 - Material removal simulation
May 21 - Feed speed optimization

There was a discussion of the goals for the closed loop machining.
Using AP-238 data, a STEP-NC control can determine the bending force
and direction on the cutting tool. The force depends on the speeds
and feeds, depth of cut, chip load, material and cutting tool. The
direction depends on the dimensions and orientation of the cutting area.

Action Items
------------------
Fred Proctor to contact Alkan Domnez to see if the TC29 Machine Tool
model can be shared with T24
Martin Hardwick to prepare the AP-238 visualization model for the impeller.
Bengt Olsson to prepare cutting tools for the demonstration.
Matt Lloyd and the CCAT team to discuss using a United Technologies
Research Center machine shop on the Pratt and Whitney campus for the
demonstraton.
