New Mission - Build ANYWHERE using STEP-NC

The NEW mission of STEP Tools is to enable digital manufacturing 
ANYWHERE using STEP-NC. With STEP-NC there are no excuses. If your 
part data is in a STEP-NC format then it can be delivered on time on 
cost and with the correct quality.

Your obligation is to get your part data into a STEP-NC format meaning 
it has good geometry that can be processed by the geometry kernels.

Our responsibility is to build manufacturing work plans for the 
geometry that can be compiled for any CNC and give an accurate 
prediction of the manufacturing time and cost.

Your suppliers responsibility is to deliver the part from the data 
at the estimated cost or less using the available equipment and 
where desirable adding local expertise to beat the estimates.

Your benefits are supplier independence, reduced costs and the 
ability to out source quality control.

How to make Parts using STEP-NC

1. Go to the STEP-NC web pages at www.stepnc.com

2. Take the "Virtual Tours" to find out how to make 
   STEP-NC data and manufacture STEP-NC parts.

3. If you are a design engineer download the ST-Plan 
   plug-in and find out how to convert your data into 
   STEP-NC data.

4. If you are a manufacturing engineer download an 
   ST-Machine plug-in to find out how to manufacture 
   parts.

5. Contact us to find out how to make this procedure a
   regular part of your operations.

Citizen Hardwick

Many of the first applications of STEP-NC will be military 
ones. Therefore, I have joined the "rebellion" against the mother
country (England) and become a US citizen. This will make interfacing
to these customers  easier. Additional benefits include gaining the
same citizenship as a large pile of paper that the bank says they
are keeping for me.
