This weekly newsletter is a brief update of what is going on in STEP

Super Model Project Industrial Review Board

The Super Model project is developing a database and interface that
for the STEP-NC standard for the following customers:

1. Industrial organizations that want to add manufacturing
   specifications to their product data using CAD, CAM and
   process planning tools.

2. Controller vendors who want to receive rich, vendor neutral
   specifications for manufacturing processes.

The project is being monitored by an Industrial Review Board and we
have just added a picture taken during their first meeting to our web
page.

STEP Meeting at NASA

There will be a meeting to discuss space applications of STEP at the
Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.
