Visualization Service ready for Testing

The Visualization Service has been added to the Translation Service on
the STEP Tools, Inc. Web site. The new service will be part of the
ST-WebExchange product when it is released next year. You can use the
service to create and browse web pages describing the contents of a
product model. To try the new service select the "Visualization
Service" translator at:

ST-WebExchange is a data exchange system that lets your supply chain
use product modeling services on your World Wide Web site. If you want
the white paper on ST-WebExchange send a request to info at steptools.com

--------------------
Interest in STEP NC continuing to grow

STEP-NC extends the STEP product models to include information for
machine tool controllers. There are strong rumors that a Japanese
project has been funded and recent teleconference calls in the United
States have included multiple representatives from the Automotive,
Aerospace and Defense sectors. A special interest group met for the
first time in ISO STEP in Beijing. The United States, the STEP special
interest group and the Japanese project all want to integrate the
STEP-NC models more closely with the STEP.

Application Programming with STEP

Our next class is on application programming with STEP. It will be
held from November 17 to November 19 in Troy. The class covers all you
need to know if you want to write a STEP translator for a CAD, CAM,
CAE or PDM application.
